Windstorm – School of Seven Bells [mp3]

School of Seven Bells is a three-piece act hailing New York and consisting of twins Alejandra and Claudia Deheza with Benjamin Curtis.

The opening track to their album Disconnect from Desire, is called Windstorm, and it certainly lives up to its name: it starts off with a circling, minimalistic girls chorus, a pretty guitar hook reminiscent of Dreams by the Cranberries, and soothing female vocals not unlike Butterfly Boucher’s would be sans an Australian accent.

We got their brand new album at CFMU this week, and I’ve decided it’s too cute to keep to myself.
