Creepy but beautiful – Villages by Alpine

Alpine is a six-piece hailing from Melbourne, Australia. What makes them so delectable is the combined power of their two vocal frontwomen Phoebe Baker and Lou James – princesses of light-as-air rock music.

The music video for Villages, the first track off their EP Zurich, is an exercise in girlish fantasy. It plays like flipbook animation of pages of an alt-fashion magazine. After I’m done watching it, I want to wear gauzy linen pants and kohl on my eyes and dab my wrists with Chloé.

Sometimes its nice to revel in your own girlishness.
