Pogo re-invents Walt Disney with “Wishery”

Wishery has been my go-to track all week. Pogo is the alias of 22-year-old Australian music producer Nick Bertke. He uses vocal snippets and chords from popular children’s movies to create haunting, melodic electronic tracks.

The video for Wishery absolutely mesmerisizing. To grab Pogo’s tracks, including Wishery, go to his website. I highly recommend Toyz Noize if you’re craving some Pixar animation.

I have a soft spot for Disney’s Robin Hood (yeah, the one with the foxes) so I thought I’d check out Josh Kershaw’s Arrow Through The Heart which has a similar concept – take a few chords and samples from a classic Dis’ flick and make ’em into music.
