So I haven’t had a bunch of time to post daily but I figured I would make a weekend playlist made up of all the music I’ve listened to this week. So TGIF everyone!

Say what you will about Lana Del Rey, I still like the music she makes.

You Know What I Mean - Cults

This is a great album, I listen to it on the regular at work and dance, snap and look like a weirdo moving around in silence in my office as if people can’t see me, when really they can.  I’m preeetty popular.

DoYaThang - Gorillaz feat James Murphy, and Andre 3000 (Converse Compilation)

I’m ready for summer

With all the weird weather we’ve been having, this new wave of sunshine is exactly what I was waiting for.  Here is a playlist to kick start the summer, reveal the new blog design, and celebrate MUSIC BETWEEN FRIENDS being added as an Off The Grid blog for Toronto’s new mega-website THE GRID.

Katie and I have been contributing to the blog for over a year now and what started as a venue for us to share songs/bands that we were listening to among friends, is now looking like a real music blog.  Kind of?  Anyways, this playlist has some personal classics as well as new songs from bands I’m loving right now like Cults and Sleigh Bells.

The other day, I discovered Vermillion Club, a dude-dude duo from Binghamton, NY. So far, I’m a fan! They sound like a sweet, easy-listening mixture of Vampire Weekend, Whale Tooth, and Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin. The best part?
