Originally I wanted my first post to be a song that will sum up what you will hear from me on this blog, but after a conversation with my sister I took the nostalgic route.  My sister is undeniably my favourite person on the planet, so I decided on a song we both enjoy, Arcade Fire’s- Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels). If you haven’t/aren’t listening to the Arcade Fire I strongly suggest you do.  Tunnels as well as Intervention are probably my favourites off their Funeral album back in 2004.  My favourite thing about this song though– it never fails to bring me back to my sister (who now lives in California) because when I listen to it I instantly think of her– and how sometimes I wish we had a tunnel connecting our windows.  So this one’s for my hermana, Lyndsay
